Pine Shadow Farm has a relationship with Upasana Odissi that stretches back to 2011, and we partner with them to invite many artists to stay at the residency.

Upasana Odissi, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to promoting and preserving the lesser-known style of Indian classical dance, Odissi. Upasana engages observers and participants through its classes, demonstrations, and performances thereby promoting cultural understanding.  Founder and teacher Mouli Pal has been intensively trained under the personal tutelage of the legendary Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra. She continues to train under the guidance of eminent dancer Nandini Ghoshal in India and regularly attends workshops by Master teachers.
