We normally have a good supply of firewood for sale. Only high BTU (heat content) hardwoods are available, not softwoods like pine and hemlock. Our wood provides high heating value per cord, and lower creosote build up in your stove pipe or chimney.
Most of our customers order well seasoned firewood, but those who have the time and space to store their wood supply for upwards to a year order 'green' cordwood at reduced prices.
Wood can be order cut to custom length to best fit your stove or fireplace. Please specify when ordering.
Our cordwood is 'clean'. By that we mean it is essentially free of extraneous material such as wood chips, dirt and sawdust. This contributes to a cleaner house when bringing it in from your stack.
For a small additional fee we will split the wood to small pieces for ease of carrying by the elderly, or for use in a kitchen cook stove.
Local deliveries are without additional charge in quantities of at least one cord.
